Exciting news! Smoking is on the lookout for the next wave of creative talent, and we want YOU to be part of it! As we celebrate our 100 years of heritage, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Smoking Contest 100 Years Sharing!
What’s it all about, you ask? Well, it’s our way of championing young talent and giving you a platform to showcase your skills. We’ve teamed up with online platforms to create a dynamic contest that’s fully integrated into Smoking’s social networks. So get ready to unleash your creativity and join the conversation using the hashtag #Smoking100years.
Participation couldn’t be simpler! Just share your creation in a post or video format using the #Smoking100years hashtag. We’re making this action across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and TikTok, so pick your favorite platform and start sharing your masterpiece! 😉
You can be from anywhere in the world! You just have to be 18 YO or older 😄
Whether you’re into visual arts, literary creations, musical compositions, advertising, social innovations, digital content creation… Or simply expressing yourself personally, we want to see what you’ve got. From paintings and sculptures to short stories and podcasts, the sky’s the limit (or not)!
It may include visual arts such as painting, sculpture, photography, graphic design, illustration, 3D art, and video production. Also, crafts like embroidery, crochet, ceramics, and the crafting of objects from paper, metal, or recycled materials. It can be jewelry design, sewing, furniture making, and the creation of soaps or other domestic products, are welcomed.
Both fiction and non-fiction are embraced, spanning novels, short stories, poetry, essays, biographies, and chronicles.
It compasses musical composition, performance, and production.
It may involve the development of commercial scripts, sketches, advertisements, or creative pieces.
Social creation includes innovations in social issues and public policies, whether they are in the ideation phase or have been implemented.
It involves crafting blogs, videos, podcasts, and social media content.
Personal creation focuses on self-expression, allowing individuals to create works or expressions that reflect their thoughts and feelings.
And now for the moment, you’ve all been waiting for… the prizes! We’ve got 106 Domestika course licenses and 50 Crehana annual licenses up for grabs. Not only will you get the chance to showcase your talent, but you could also win some awesome prizes to help take your skills to the next level!
We’ve assembled an all-star panel of judges, including members of MCM, our esteemed partners at Rousselot, and international partners from the Smoking Creators line.
So what are you waiting for? Join us as we celebrate 100 years of Smoking and unlock your creative potential! With amazing prizes up for grabs and a jury of industry experts ready to be wowed, there’s never been a better time to get involved.
Each month, Smoking Paper will announce 12 winners and 6 alternates, with the communication and distribution of awards following a specified procedure.
Closing Date of the Monthly Contest: The contest kicks off on January 22nd, which means the first closing date for submissions is February 21st.
Jury Appoints Winners: Within a maximum of 5 calendar days after the closing date, our esteemed jury will select the lucky winners.
Winner Notification: Once the winners are chosen, Smoking Paper will reach out to them via the social media accounts used for participation. Notifications will be sent within the following five calendar days of each month. At this point, we’ll also request the winners’ email addresses for further communication.
Response Period: Winners will have 10 calendar days from the notification date to respond and accept their prize. If we don’t hear back within this timeframe, we’ll assume they’re not interested.
Winner Verification: To ensure everything is above board, we reserve the right to request legal identification from the winners to verify they’re not minors.
Prize Confirmation: Once the winners accept their prize, it will be sent to the email provided by the winners.
Contacting Alternates: If a response isn’t received from the winners within the specified period, Smoking Paper will move on to contact the first alternate winner. We will apply the same notification process and the response period.
Process with Alternates: Alternates will also have 10 calendar days to respond to their notification. If they don’t respond within this period, we’ll move on to the next alternate, and so forth.
Void Prize: In the rare event that neither the winners nor the alternates respond within the established timeframes, the prize will be considered void. Fear not, though – we’ll add the void prize to the following month’s pool, along with the rest of the prizes.
