The best mural paintings in the world!

As we have commented in previous articles such as Famous street artists, Street art sculptures, 3D street art paintings, urban art is much more present than we can surely perceive, as art accompanies us many times on our walks. Many artists have used street art as a protest or also to make visible some social problems. Still, many other artists use this type of art solely to display their work and adorn the streets and walls around the world. In today’s article, we want you to discover the best mural paintings in the world so that you can observe the works of art while you walk through large cities.

Top 10 of the best mural paintings in the world

So that you can discover the best murals we will make a top 10 of the best works and, as we always say, we will surely leave many other fantastic murals:

The Case

One of the first wall murals that we want to include in this top 10 is called The Case and was made by the Colombian artist GLEO. This large mural is located in Turkey and was created for the Muralizmir festival. Through this great work, the artist portrays a woman whose face and hands are decorated with ethnic motifs. In addition, a lotus flower is drawn on a hat.

Womens

The next large mural we want to include on this list is the one made by the American artist Tristan Eaton. Womens has become one of the most famous murals in the city of Miami and it is intended to commemorate International Women’s Day, March 8. For this, different female faces of different ethnic races are reflected in this work. This muralism art not only stands out for its great message but also for the execution of it and all the textures that are included.

Enter the vortex

The next piece of art that we have included as one of the best murals is Enter the vortex by the French artist Julien Malland, or better known as Seth. This mural stands out above all the rest of the artist’s work since it is made on the ends of the buildings and when joined, the mural is created generating a visual effect

Bruce

The next mural that we want to comment on is the one made by the artist Aches and named it Bruce since it represents the historical figure of Edward Bruce, who was the last Great King of Ireland. This mural stands out for the visual effects based on the color that the artist creates in each of his works. Through this visual effect, the artist manages to create the 3D effect of the figure of a man riding his horse.

The Evening

The Evening is another of the murals that we want to highlight and it was made by the mural painter Fintan Magee for the Vancouver Mural Festival. Through this mural the artist wanted to portray a man and a woman resting on each other’s bodies. What is most impressive about this large scale work is that a great job of perspective is done despite the central balconies of the building.

Janus

The following mural was made by the artist duo Pichiavo in the city of Berlin and this work is the result of their participation in the Berlin Mural Fest. Through this great work, the artists sought to evoke God Janus from Roman mythology. This God had two faces and was the guardian of heaven as he could look into the future and the past. In addition to this representation, the artists decided to capture God surrounded by graffiti to represent street art.

Defend Dignity

Another of the murals that we want to highlight is found in the city of Los Angeles and is a work by the well-known artist Obey. The artist created this work called Defend Dignity to denounce a social problem, specifically, he showed through this work the right to migration reflected through the face of Maribel Valdés González, a Mexican migrant.

Totto Brand

Ledania is another great Colombian artist who decided to make a huge wall in Bogotá. Through this mural, he wanted to create a mosaic full of colors, textures, and various characters among which we find the representation of a woman who simulates mother nature. It is a work that stands out for being one of the most colorful and you should know that the artist invested approximately 30 hours to finish it.

Pillar of unified love

The next work to comment also belongs to a festival, specifically the Iam Titans festival in which the main theme was love. Through this mural, we can see two skeletons fused in an embrace while joining their lips. What is most surprising about this work is the perfection and accuracy with which the skeletons are portrayed and despite this, it transmits love and passion.

Equality and Kindness

The last great mural that we want to highlight is the one made by the Italian artist Francesco Camilo or also known as Milo. Through this work, the artist wanted to reflect gender equality and the respect that should be demanded between both genders. For this, in the work, a boy and a girl are represented in an everyday environment where nature is shown through her heart.
