If we recently talked about the winners of this year’s Oscars… Obviously, we have also made a summary of the Grammy Awards! Don’t miss any of what happened and all the winners! 😉

The winners and the best moments at the Grammy Awards!

The 2022 Grammy Album of the Year is…

“WE ARE” by Jon Batiste is the album of the year according to the Grammy Awards.

Batiste said music is more than something to pass the time, it’s a spiritual practice. Batiste told his fellow nominees to keep being themselves.

Silk Sonic wins Grammy for Record of the year!

Silk Sonic does it again. After winning song of the year for “Leave The Door Open”, the group integrated by Anderson Paak and Bruno Mars, also won the Grammy for Record of the Year for the same song.

“At this point, we’re trying to stay humble, but in the industry, they call this a sweep,” said Paak in the acceptance speech.

H.E.R., Lenny Kravitz and Travis Barker on stage!

Grammy and Oscar winner H.E.R. gave a performance in which she took a tour of her musical roots! She was joined on stage by Lenny Kravitz and Travis Barker on drums.

Doja Cat and SZA are the Grammy winners for best pop duo/group performance!

The twists and turns of life! Two weeks after changing her Twitter name to “I Quit,” Doja Cat wins a Grammy Award for her hit “Kiss Me More.”

The singer, who took a few seconds to take the stage, joked at the beginning of her acceptance speech that she had “never peed so fast in my life.”

Also, she said, visibly moved and with the speech broken down by her tears, that being on stage was “a very important thing”.

Justin Bieber plays piano at the Grammy Awards

Justin Bieber, nominated for 8 Grammy Awards, started his performance of the hit “Peaches” with an acoustic version, piano and vocals.

This song was nominated for best R&B performance, song of the year, recording of the year and best music video. Daniel Caesar and Giveon joined Bieber later in the performance.

Jon Batiste filled the MGM Grand with color and joy

With 11 mentions, Jon Batiste is the most nominated artist of the 2022 Grammy Awards. The musician performed his song “Freedom”, which is taken from the album “WE ARE”.

Batiste went from singing and dancing, to playing the piano and the audience, where he was seen having fun with Billie Eilish and Finneas!

Taylor Hawkins is remembered at the Grammys

The legendary drummer of the Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins, was remembered during the Grammy Awards ceremony. The Academy presented a video in which Hawkins can be seen conquering that instrument he loved so much, as well as talking about his profession, along with the band’s hit “My Hero”.

Foo Fighters, who were scheduled to perform at the ceremony, canceled their appearance following the tragic news.

The rock band won three Grammy Awards: best rock performance for “Making A Fire”, best rock song for “Waiting On A War” and best rock album for “Medicine At Midnight”.

Olivia Rodrigo wins her third Grammy

American singer Olivia Rodrigo won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for “SOUR”.

Rodrigo dedicated the Grammy to her parents, particularly her mother, for supporting her in all her dreams, including – she said – when at age 9 she said she wanted to be a gymnast.

American singer Jazmine Sullivan took home the Grammy for best R&B album for “Heaux Tales”.

This was the second Grammy of the night for the performer. Earlier, she lifted the golden gramophone for “Pick Up Your Feelings”, the best R&B performance of 2022.

Donatella Versace “rips off” part of Dua Lipa’s dress!

One of the highlights of the night was when Donatella Versace gets on stage and “rips” off part of Dua Lipa’s dress.

But let’s not worry, it wasn’t an outburst from the Italian designer. It seems it was all orchestrated, as rapper Megan Thee Stallion was also wearing the same Versace dress. When they both complained that they would be the only ones to have this model, the designer went upstairs, ripped off part of the skirt and Dua was left with leather pants and a very short black dress.

The best new artist is Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo takes home her second Grammy of the night by being named Best New Artist at the 2022 Grammy Awards. Two years ago and at the age of 18, Billie Eilish won the same category.
