WHICH ARE THE BEST DATING APPS? FIND YOUR MATCH!

WHICH ARE THE BEST DATING APPS? FIND YOUR MATCH!

We recently gave you the best tips for flirting on Tinder, so these same tips will help you to flirt on any other dating app. Do you know any other than Tinder? Surely right now you can’t find any other, let’s see them! 😉

The Best Dating apps of 2022

Fairytrail

If you love traveling, and you never stay in one place for long, this is your app to meet people! 😎

You can sign up with your Google or Facebook accounts, and then you will have to answer some questions about yourself.

You can choose the type of character you’d like to meet, or you can filter profiles by age, gender, mobility, current country, religion, ethnicity, and more. One thing to consider is that you won’t be able to chat until you pay your one-time $2.99 registration fee.

Kippo

If you’re the type of person who spends your weekends trying to top Fortnite leaderboards, hanging out with World of Warcraft, or just enjoying an occasional game of Overcooked with friends, then this dating app is totally for you! Kippo has been around since 2019 and was co-founded by former Raya executive David Park.

You can meet gamers locally and globally, chat about your favorite games, and connect and plan a game or date night. The app is free, but you can upgrade to Kippo Infinity for $10 a month to use seven cards in your dating profile instead of three. Just like dating, the app has also generated thousands of friendships, with gamers looking for teammates through the app – this is a great app to download even if you’re not looking for your soulmate!

The newest features include a new Compatibility Card that allows you to submit all the basic information about yourself, from sexual and romantic orientation and gender identity to whether you have or want children or pets. You can now also multi-select gender preferences, for greater control over who you want to see.

It’s worth noting that Kippo is sadly not available in the UK, so if you’re reading this and live there, you’ll need to choose one of the other apps to boost your dating life!

HER

HER is the most popular and largest free dating app for LGBTQ women in the world, with over five million users worldwide. You’ll need to use your Facebook or Instagram account to sign up, and then you’ll be able to see other verified users locally or around the world.

But the app isn’t just for a date or finding love. There are informative articles on LGBTQ issues, local queer events for you, and a community to belong to, so you can make friends with like-minded women who believe in LGBTQ equality and empowerment! 😉 To match with another user, just “like” her photos – if the interest is mutual, the app connects you, so you can have a conversation.

HER also holds social gatherings and parties in 15 cities around the world (such as London, New York, and Los Angeles). By downloading the app, you can check when the next event will be held, and you can also get discounts on tickets!

HER is free, but there is a premium subscription available that allows you to see who is online at the moment, filter searches by sexual preference, and more. The premium subscription starts at $15 per month.

OkCupid

OkCupid was once one of the biggest names in the dating service business, and the funny thing about it is that the desktop version has been around for a long time (before apps existed).

These days, reviews of the app are pretty mixed, but it’s still a popular choice if you’re getting back into the dating game. With OkCupid, you will find plenty of fish in the sea.

After creating a username, you’ll begin your OkCupid journey by completing a very long profile, which you can link to your Instagram account. You can answer questions, giving both your answer and what you would like your potential match’s answer to be, creating a percentage score that reflects compatibility between users.

If that interface is too chaotic, you can tap the “Quickmatch” option, it restricts the results to photos only! You can like people or message them similarly to Tinder, but messaging is your best bet: users can see who has liked them only if they’ve upgraded to “A-list” status, which costs $10 per month or $30 for six months.

Tinder

Some other websites may be older, but Tinder is undoubtedly the most famous dating app! As successful as it’s at creating long-distance relationships and successful marriages, Tinder has been accused of changing the dating world into something of a pickup game. But it’s the King of dating for a reason, and the first choice for many people looking for online dating.

Fortunately, the Tinder app no longer requires you to have a Facebook account, but you do have to be 18 or older. And once you’ve enabled the app, you can set up a profile consisting of a 500-character bio and up to six images (we suggest always including a photo!😉). You can also link the Tinder account to your Instagram and include information about your work or studies.

In addition, in the settings, you’ll be able to set some preferences regarding who you see. Then the real fun begins. Tinder will show you a photo, a name, and an age. You can tap on the photo to access additional information about the person and whether you share any friends on Facebook.

You can also choose to swipe to the right if you like them or to the left if you don’t or use one of your “super likes” to show that you are genuinely interested. As with many other dating pools, the results will depend on if you are looking for a casual date, potential partners or friends, or if you wish for a long-term relationship.

If the other person likes you too, a screen will pop up showing you that you have matched and will then allow you to send them a message. Most of the time, though, you’ll be flipping through different profiles as if you were changing channels while watching TV!

Grindr

If you’re gay, bi, trans, or queer, then you probably already know Grindr. It’s the largest LGBTQ+ dating site and social networking site out there, and it’s a must-download if you’re looking for that special someone.

Signing up is easy: you can choose to enter your details traditionally by filling out the form, or you can quickly sign up with their Facebook account. Once you’ve registered, you’ll have to set up a profile picture, and a display name and make it clear if you’re looking for love, a connection, or just friends.

You can choose whether you want to talk to someone or if you just like them, and you can even explore other locations if you’re going somewhere else for the weekend. And if something goes wrong, it’s also easy to report or block accounts, although there are a limited number of blocks for free users. The service is free to use, but there are limits.

Free users can only view 100 profiles in their area and are also limited in other parts of the app. If you want to lift those limits, there are two subscriptions. Grindr XTRA allows you to view up to 600 profiles in your area, see only people who are online now, and remove ads and other updates for $20 a month.

And Grindr Unlimited, which has no limit on the number of people you can view, allows you to see who has viewed their profile and browse in incognito mode. However, it will cost you $25 a month, so it’s a great investment.

Bumble

Bumble is a lot like Tinder, but it works a little differently. With Bumble, once two people of different sexes match, the woman must send a message first.

She has 24 hours to do so before her connection disappears. Meanwhile, guys can extend the match with someone for 24 hours, if they want to hear from any woman. For meetings or matches with people of the same sex, either person can initiate the conversation first. Also, surprisingly, connecting to Bumble requires a Facebook account.

In addition, the profiles are concise and the settings also resemble Tinder, so swiping the photos to one side or the other will signal that you like or dislike someone.

Bumble also features an easy-to-configure user interface. Also of note is the fact that a dating app was designed with women first in mind, although it’s also intended for men. And it’s the only app that prohibits pornographic material, requires respect among users, and its code of conduct is meant to be a safe and friendly place.

However, if you’re a woman and hate being the first person to start a conversation, then Bumble probably isn’t for you!

And what about you? Which is your favorite dating app?
