As a consequence of the situation experienced worldwide due to the coronavirus, more and more festivals, performances, concerts were cancelled… and in the face of this situation, many artists reinvented themselves to be able to adapt their work to the new normality. 

Many artists were able to find a new way to connect with their audience thanks to social networks and streaming platforms. Through these, they were able to share their music and continue performing even if it was not on stage. 

This new modality has come to stay, that’s why we want to share with everyone virtual concerts and live streams to watch this year.

Here is a short list of upcoming concerts this September for you to enjoy from home:

 

Kodaline Live Stream:

Kodaline is an Irish indie rock band formed in 2005 in Dublin. For them, music serves as therapy and they want their songs and music to have a specific purpose, in this case, honesty. Next Saturday, September 5th 2020, they will be able to enjoy their concert online at 12.00pm CEST.

Props: A Hip-Hop Game Shop

A Hip Hop Gameshow is a freestyle rap contest created by Freestyle Fitness. In this contest, the best freestyle artists from New York City are selected to show their best style. Each show is unique and different because each challenge has a content and technical components. Participants see the category, what it may include, the duration and the value of each challenge. The more difficult the challenge, the more possibilities they can include in their rhymes. The judges will decide who is the winner of each challenge. Who will make the best rhyme? Find out next September 5th.

Fuse Club: Techno Club

It is a young techno nightclub in London and aims to create a new concept of techno music while remaining true to its style. In this way, this club wants to explore new music while creating new concepts around techno music. For this reason, they intend to provide original and fresh sounds so that people can enjoy a great techno night. You can join and continue enjoying their music through an online event on September 12, 2020.

Brett Young

Enjoy the Brett Young concert next September 11th and discover a new artist and new music. He is a singer, musician and composer and stands out for fusing country and pop styles, creating his own style within these two genres. He reached number 1 on Billboard’s country album list when it was released and stands out for his honest lyrics and original sounds.

Crossing Paths

Crossing Paths is a group that is characterized by creating intercultural compositions mixing genres such as hip hop, folk and electronics. Next Thursday 17th September 2020 they will perform an online concert featuring hip hop artist Kween G, Chinese Soprano Carina Li, Balkan maestro Louie Stojcevski (Saxophone), the infamous Sam Golding (trumpet), electronic artist Nick Wishart and composer/music director Richard Petkovic.

Old Crow Medicine Show

Old Crow Medicine Show is a group that started to travel the streets of New York and Canada to teach and show their peculiar music. A group that is characterized by making alternative country, and belong to the genre old-time and folk. After 20 years, the band has received the honor of being admitted to the Grand Ole Opry and have won two Grammy Awards for “Best Folk Album” for Remedy (2014) and “Best Long Form Music Video” for Big Easy Express (2013). You can enjoy a great concert and discover this band online next September 18th at 8.00 pm.

It is probably going to be longer until we can enjoy concerts and festivals in the same way as in the past, which is why we want to bring music closer to the public so that culture can continue to be consumed and great artists can continue to be discovered.
