ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2024: LINEUP AND DATES

Ultra Music Festival 2024 is gearing up for another epic edition. The mega festival in Miami is on track for its 24th run, and we already know when it’s going down. No surprises here – the new edition is set to rock Miami from March 22 to 24.

In the last 2023 edition, the exclusive performance by the Swedish trio, Swedish House Mafia, was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the show. Another set that stole the spotlight in Miami was the mind-blowing audiovisual spectacle by the one and only Eric Prydz, HOLO. It brought a fresh lineup of visuals, creating an immersive experience accompanied by new tracks from the Swedish maestro.

The return of Hardwell was a highly anticipated moment, and he didn’t hold back, delivering a ton of unreleased material. Kx5, the collaboration between deadmau5 and Kaskade, also made waves as a game-changer at the American festival.

Dates and Tickets

Ultra 2024 is set to rock Bayfront Park from March 22 to 24. Tickets usually don’t sell out until a week or two before the festival. They’re released in phases, and the first phase tends to fly off the shelves shortly after it opens. Getting it isn’t usually a problem, but you’ve got to be on the ball!

Now, about the price – the ticket might seem more affordable when you convert it to euros, but here’s the kicker: fees and shipping will tack on an extra 100 bucks. The average ticket price hovers around 450-550 euros. You’ll get your ticket weeks before the festival kicks off, along with a code on the back that you need to activate right away. If you don’t, no entry to the festival for you! 😪

Accomodation

With tickets and flights in the bag, there was one more thing on the checklist: accommodation. If you’re looking for an apartment close to the Ultra venue, Airbnb is your go-to, but be warned, it won’t be budget-friendly if you decide to wait until the last minute.

On the flip side, if your plan is to hit up Ultra and as many events as possible, we recommend a hostel for the communal vibe since you’ll only be crashing there.

There’s no average price since it all depends on location. The closer to Bayfront Park, the pricier it gets. However, if you’re dead set on going, there are currently accommodations for around 1000 euros for a maximum of 6 people for 4 days!

Miami Music Week

Now it’s time to touch down in Miami. During Ultra Miami week, everything revolves around Miami Music Week. Pool parties, night shindigs, exclusive DJ events, and even beyond the music scene, you can catch an NBA game, explore the Everglades, or hit up Universal parks in Orlando.

Keep in mind that some parties are +21 (the legal drinking age in the US), and others are +18, so maybe you’ll only have access to certain events!!!!

Honestly, it’s hard to put into words what it feels like at a festival like this. Bayfront Park is a fantastic canvas for building a festival, standing out from the competition. Day or night, it’s equally mind-blowing. This festival, this city… they give off a different vibe!

So much so that the stage itself can enhance a DJ’s set. Over the years, many artists have chosen Ultra as the place to retire, make a comeback, or even drop their most exclusive set. Prime examples include Swedish House Mafia or Hardwell, who’ve made musical comebacks here.

As for the secondary stages, each serves its purpose. Most hosts are at UMF Radio, as seen this year with Dirty Workz, Revealed Recordings, or JACKED. Techno enthusiasts split between the Megastructure, led by Carl Cox, and RESISTANCE. Live Stage delivers the most exclusive live performances, and Ultra Worldwide hosts a variety of musical genres with numerous established or up-and-coming artists each year.
