FORZA MOTORSPORT 8: RELEASE DATE, NEWS AND MORE
After 2 years without news about the game, the next Forza Motorsport 8 is finally revealed with a new 4K trailer shown at the Developer_Direct Xbox & Bethesda. On this occasion, several important announcements were made by the developers of the game with notably a release date to come. The trailer is full of details allowing us to have clues on the great novelties brought to this eighth opus!

Forza Motorsport Release date
The launch of Forza Motorsport is scheduled for this year, 2023, and it will be available on both PC and Xbox Series X/S. The Microsoft Developer Direct stream disclosed the estimated timeframe for the release, which had previously been hinted at during the Xbox Games Showcase in the summer of 2020.

Can Forza Motorsport 8 be played on Xbox Game Pass?
Since this game is developed by a Microsoft-owned studio, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass right from the launch day.
Forza Motorsport 8 gameplay details
As per Gabe Garcia, the Vehicle Art Director at Turn 10 Studios, Forza Motorsport 8 will include a collection of 500 cars that can be raced, customized, and collected, with over 800 distinct upgrades. Out of these cars, 100 will be entirely new to the series and will include the “most advanced race cars we’ve ever introduced to our roster”. Additionally, you can compete in races in 20 diverse environments that change dynamically based on weather conditions.
A fresh single-player career mode has been introduced to Forza Motorsport 8, which emphasizes modifying your vehicle to ensure its optimal performance in any race. Although we don’t have complete information about this new mode, it’s expected to be more interactive than any previous edition of Forza.
Given that racing can be quite unforgiving, the physics engine needs to be continuously improved, and in Forza Motorsport 8, the “progression in our physics model exceeds that of Forza Motorsport 5, 6, and 7 combined.” Additionally, materials and shaders are designed to support ray tracing, with natural light responses on the paint, dirt accumulation, and paint chipping that better reflect what happens in the game. It will support native 4K resolution and ray tracing while running at 60fps on Xbox Series X, so it’s possible that these settings will be achievable on high-end computers as well.
Forza Motorsport 8 will be compatible with Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos. The game’s re-recorded library will provide a vast array of sounds, including those of any upgrades. If you’re driving a turbocharged vehicle, the distinct sound that it makes in real life will also be present in Forza Motorsport 8. Regional track announcers and improved tire and suspension audio add to the immersion, as do new features such as dynamic type-of-day weather systems and lighting adjustments.
Track list
As of now, we have information about five tracks that are confirmed to be included in Forza Motorsport 8, some of which have never been featured in the series before. The track list will feature a mix of fictional and real-life locations, such as Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Circuit Hakone, Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, Maple Valley Raceway, and Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca.
This is all we currently know about the release date of Forza Motorsport 8. With so much attention devoted to its development, it has the potential to be a top-tier PC game for racing enthusiasts!!!!!
